your host
A six-year plan and over two years building, Tilvery boutique accommodation has been a labour of love, designed and created by owner Chris Warren.
Chris is no stranger to developing luxury accommodation. In 1989, Chris created the renowned Lazy Fish in Queen Charlotte Sounds, Marlborough. Over the next 15 years, the sought-after backpacker’s accommodation evolved into a fabulous five-star luxury retreat.
Fast forward to 2015, Chris purchased six hectares in picturesque Mahana and started planting out the property: the beginning of his new vision.
